Then the Trumpet will be blown…”

Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-‘Aas narrated that the Prophet sallAllahu alaihi wasallam said

“Then the Trumpet will be blown, and no one will  hear it but will tilt his head.  The first one to hear it will be a man who will be fixing the trough for his camels.  He will fall unconscious, and the people will fall unconscious.  Then Allah will send – or he said send down – rain, like dew (till) or shade (zill), which will cause the bodies of the people to grow.  Then the Trumpet will be blown a second time, and they will be standing, looking on (waiting).”

Muslim 4/2258 hadith no.2940

Importance of ilm

“Seek knowledge, because seeking it for the sake of Allah is worship.  And knowing it makes you more god-fearing; and searching for it is jihad, teaching it to those who do not know is charity, reviewing it and learning it more is like tasbeeh. Through knowledge Allah will be known and worshipped.  With the knowledge Allah will elevate people and make them leaders and imams, who will in turn guide other people”.
